A True Warrior

This incident dates back to the year *1492, when *Christopher Columbus was preparing for his great voyage. There was excitement and joy among the sailors, but one young man from the village, Froz, was terrified. He didn’t want Columbus and his crew to embark on such a dangerous and daring journey.

Froz had a plan—he wanted to instill fear in the hearts of the sailors and stop them from going. One day, he met a brave young sailor named Pizarro. Seeing an opportunity, Froz decided to scare him off.

Froz asked,
“Where did your father die?”
Pizarro replied in a solemn voice,
“He drowned during a sea storm.”

“And your grandfather?”
“He too died by drowning in the sea.”

“And your great-grandfather?”
“Sadly, he also drowned at sea,” answered Pizarro.

Hearing this, Froz smirked and said mockingly,
“Unbelievable! When all your ancestors drowned in the sea, why on earth would you want to follow the same path? I pity your foolishness!”

But Pizarro quickly sensed Froz’s real intention. Calmly, he asked,
“And where did your father die?”

Froz, with a proud smile, said,
“In his bed, peacefully.”

“And your grandfather?”
“On his bed as well.”

“And your great-grandfather?”
“Also in bed, like the others,” he replied with pride.

Now it was Pizarro’s turn to strike back. He asked,
“Well then, if all your ancestors died in bed, why do you still go to bed every night? Don’t you fear dying there?”

Froz’s smile faded.

Pizarro then said wisely,
“My friend, there is no place in this world for cowards. Living life with courage in the face of adversity—that is what real living is.”
